Participation Conditions
Invest4Impact is an intensive, practitioner-led enterprise development programme designed for founders and leadership teams committed to building sustainable, investment-ready enterprises.
Participation requires an active commitment of time, preparation and engagement throughout the programme.
Cohorts
Each acceleration programme is typically run for a cohort of 6 companies (or startups). We expect a minimum participation of 2 team members and a maximum of 4 team members per startup to participate.
Where requested, we can:
-
Run the acceleration programme for a single startup
-
Run the acceleration programme for a group of startups from a single VC, incubator, cluster or other organization.
Founder Team
Applicants should participate as a team whenever possible.
We strongly recommend that at least two founders or senior executives participate in the programme. This ensures that knowledge is retained within the organisation and enables participants to implement changes more effectively.
At least one participating team member should be comfortable working with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel or equivalent), as several workshops involve financial modelling, business planning and performance analysis.
Working Language
All programmes are conducted in English.
Participants should have sufficient spoken and written English to actively contribute to workshops, mentoring sessions and group discussions.
Programme Format
Invest4Impact combines:
-
In-person workshops
-
Online workshops
-
Individual mentoring sessions
-
Team assignments
-
Independent project work
Participants should expect to dedicate time between sessions to developing their enterprise using the Invest4Impact Growth Framework.
Commitment
This is not a lecture series. It is a working programme designed to lead to tangible results. Participants are expected to complete assignments, prepare presentations, analyse their enterprise, develop practical tools and actively implement improvements throughout the programme.
The value participants receive is directly related to the effort they invest.
Programme Fees
Participation is subject to programme fees, which vary depending on the programme selected.
Details of programme fees are provided during the application process.
Demo Day & Investor Introductions
Selected programmes include an optional Demo Day or Investor Pitch Day, providing participating enterprises with an opportunity to present to investors, family offices, corporate partners and other funding organisations.
Participation in these events does not constitute an offer or guarantee of investment.
Success Fee
Where Invest4Impact introduces an investor that results in a completed investment transaction, participants may choose one of two arrangements, as agreed in advance:
-
a 5% success fee based on funds raised; or
-
an agreed equity participation at the same valuation.
This applies only where Invest4Impact has played a material role in originating or facilitating the investment.
Income generated through these arrangements is reinvested into the continued development of Invest4Impact programmes and future founder support initiatives.
Code of Conduct
Invest4Impact is built on professionalism, collaboration and mutual respect. Participants are expected to:
-
act ethically and professionally;
-
respect the confidentiality of other participants;
-
contribute constructively to workshops and discussions;
-
complete agreed assignments on time; and
-
foster a collaborative learning environment.
Invest4Impact reserves the right to withdraw participation from individuals whose conduct materially disrupts the programme.
